[LAPBOX V3] How to use

Fill a Mastatest^® cartridge

Image	Take a clean milk sample (see user videos)
Image	Put on clean gloves, and remove cartridge from pack
Image	Remove cartridge lid and half-fill cartridge with milk
Image	Pour off surplus milk and discard
Image	Replace lid, pushing down firmly, and label lid with cow details
Image	Tap firmly 2-3 times, repeating if air-bubbles are visible in wells
Image	Insert cartridge into Lapbox™ with arrows facing to the back and replace lid

Start a Mastatest^® 

1. Start position defaults to first available. to confirm, or scroll to chosen position, then
Cartridge type should be automatically detected.
If not select Single (1 test) or Twin (2 tests) cartridge

2. Select BoxStart , or WebStart

3. Enter animal details:
• BoxStart: Enter animal number eg: and scroll to select quarter
• WebStart: Enter at mastatestsystem.com

• When test has started, a countdown timer shows on screen. Further tests can be started at any time.
• to return to prior screen.
• Long-press to delete. 
• To check or cancel a test in progress, scroll to select position , then to check or to cancel. 

Set-up Guide :

1. Connect 
• Connect the power cable, and ethernet cable (if available)

2. Set preferences
• Set operating language: scroll , then to confirm
• If no ethernet is detected:
- to scan for Wifi networks, scroll to select, then to confirm
- Input password: Use number keys, or scroll to select characters. Move cursor using
- to save password, then to continue  
• Note 16-digit Lapbox ID, then to exit set-up

3. Register Lapbox
• For new clients: Create your account at mastatestsystem.com
• For existing customers:
- Login to your mastatestsystem.com account
- Select “My Account” and “Register a Lapbox” from menu
 

Caring for your Mastatest system 
• Recommended room temperature of 5-30°C (41-86°F) for best performance
• Position Lapbox on a clean, dry desk space and handle with care
• Keep internal and external surfaces clean using a damp cloth (water only)
• Store cartridges at 2-8°C (35-46°F), and use before expiry date

•   Red light indicates power on.
•   Green light indicates internet connection.
