[LAPBOX V2] How to use

Fill a Mastatest^® cartridge

Image	Take a clean milk sample (see user videos)
Image	Put on clean gloves, and remove cartridge from pack
Image	Remove cartridge lid and half-fill cartridge with milk
Image	Pour off surplus milk and discard
Image	Replace lid, pushing down firmly, and label lid with cow details
Image	Tap firmly 2-3 times, repeating if air-bubbles are visible in wells
Image	Insert cartridge into Lapbox™ with arrows facing to the back and replace lid

Start a Mastatest^® 

To Begin:
• From the Lapbox main menu, select Start Mastatest
• Select Lapbox slot used: If first free slot used or scroll to select and

Option 1: BoxStart
• Select type:
- For Clinical
- For HiSCC
• Select BoxStart
• Input cow number (e.g. 00123) and scroll to select quarter
• Confirm start

Option 2: QuickStart
• Scroll down to select test type:
- For Clinical QuickCM
- For HiSCC QuickSCC
• Input test details to vetoquinol.mastatestsystem.com within 21 hours

Next steps:
• Countdown timer shows the remaining time
• Further tests can be started independently
• Results emailed within 24 hours

Set-up the Mastatest® Lapbox™ in 3 easy steps:

1. INSTALL LAPBOX 
• Connect Lapbox to ethernet (LAN) and power using supplied cables (to connect via WiFi see page 2)
• Fold out screen by pulling from underneath (To fold away, push silver buttons either side of Lapbox)
• The default language is English. To change, from the main menu scroll:
- to Configure Lapbox ,  to Select language then scroll to select
- Return to the main menu:   

2. REGISTER
• Login, or create an account at vetoquinol.mastatestsystem.com portal. 
• From portal menu, select My Account, then Register New Lapbox. Then input:
- Lapbox ID (from the Lapbox main menu, to select Lapbox information )
- Serial number (on rear of Lapbox)
- On Lapbox, select to return to main menu

3. CHECK CONNECTION
• Check red  and green lightsare showing on the display.
• Scroll down to select Test upload to Cloud then . If successful, Lapbox is ready to use.
• to return to main menu.

The Lapbox is now ready for use!

CARE
• Operate Lapbox within room temperature range 5-30°C (41-86°F) for best performance
• Position your Lapbox on a clean, dry desk space and handle with care to protect camera inside
• Store Mastatest cartridges at 2-8°C (35-46°F), and use before expiry date
• Keep internal and external surfaces clean using a damp cloth (water only)

CONNECT VIA WiFi (NB: ethernet is recommended - see above for connecting via ethernet)
Starting from the Lapbox main menu:
1. Configure for WiFi
- Scroll down to Configure Lapbox
- Select Set internet connection
- Scroll down to Set Wifi and wait for Lapbox to restart

2. Set-up Network SSID
- Scroll down to Configure Lapbox , then
- Scroll down to Setup Wifi Connection, then
- to scan for networks, then scroll to your chosen network, and to select
- Go back to Setup Wifi Connection

NB: > –65dBm, and 2.4 GHz WiFi required

3. Enter network password
- Scroll down to Set Wifi password, then
- Input WiFi password using and to select characters. Long-press when complete
- Press again to save
- Scroll to return to main menu

4. Check connection
- Scroll down to Test upload to Cloud, then
- to return to main menu
